if you have a sexy profile pic, that is where the interest starts or stops, so reading the profile is never the first thing, perhaps the last thing someone does lol

I read them and hope mine is read. I definitely use what is written in a profile to determine if I am interested. Over the years I have learned to read between the lines. If not much is there....well....😕

why read a profile half the women on here don't answer IM's and those that do want meet so what the heck plus this site has put so much of a choke hold on standard members 3 invites don't spell success so i'm beginning to think this site is just a bunch of bs i would not recommend this site to anyone

I read them all the time.Sometimes in stealth mode so's not to create any panic that I might be sending them a message. Everybody wishes they'd have their profiles read.I think people tend to be so picky that they just avoid reading them. Using more than all the road!

I would not normally read your profile because frankly we are a poor match, and I am not in the looking for couple thing. That being said when I first glanced at your profile it looked long but it flowed well, like one of you might write in some capacity for a living. Not my thing even if you were closer but it should work. The thing is that you only see the people who read it and ignore it, or who don't read it, and never all those who read it and hold the tape up to there unit and realize that they come up short Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

I read profiles of women I am interested in as I don't want to waste mine and their time. I will attach my profile and photo most of the time. I read and pay attention. I know that most do not so I keep my profile short and sweet. I am often repeating my preferences to people. So far, I've resisted the impulse to add "You'd know this if you read my profile." Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Mine is long...... but the way I see it - if there is interest and someone wants to know about me, then that shouldn't matter. If one doesn't want to bother reading it, then don't.... and move on. Pretty plain & simple...  Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

Most guys do not read profiles then get mad at you when u tell them . " It's in my profile " .. Reading profiles prevents disappointment.

Have a clear statement in red in ours. Do you think single men can see that? Obviously not. Still get messages from them and the amount of single men who hotlist us and want to be friends is astounding. Yes you wonder why you filled it in at times....

I totally agree no one reads plus standard members can't read them which I am a standard member here but I do try to comment on it . I would read if I could 😃. The other thing is hardly anyone replies back on messenger here not sure if it's me or if it just doesn't work !

I tend to just see if another would read my profile and feel compelled to contact me... If not... well possibly another will and lead to something

We find it a major pain in the butt though we do understand that standard members are limited to what they can see, read and respond to. We find it amusing that paid members that don't have the two-way e-mail privilege still email us. Like you, we went through the process of posting our profile, all 4 or 5 pages worth, to our blog. We do open the blog post with: "Though we understand that for some reason being horny inhibits the ability for many on this site to read or comprehend written material. We thought we would give this a try. This is for those who are willing to read and comprehend but are not able to view profiles." The restrictions and ridiculous membership fees that the site has imposed over the years, not to mention the amount of software glitches and security breaches. That is what prompted us to seek Lifestyle people elsewhere.

We are lifetime members there too. Not to speak for others but we have noticed that we are no longer getting email notifications that we have messages. We have the feature turned on and we double checked it but it's not working. If you don't log on to check the site you have no idea that you have messages. Our male half has been a member on here since around 2000 the amount of foolish changes on here are beyond aggravating.
