 I've had several email me recently, but the one from Nebraska was quite insistent that we get to know each other and he would come to meet me.

Of course. And this is really nothing new. Men have always had a universal ability to act like idiots around women. That we all know. Traditionally we may think of that is stammering and an inability to speak to women due to nervousness and fear. Obviously because they are attracted.

But contacting women somewhat anonymously online brings another level of stupidity. This is nothing new, it started with AOL 25 years ago or more.

Most men, I believe, contact women from the standpoint of pure fantasy. The women are not real to them, never will be. Just another form of titillation for their fantasies. Women are not immune to this either.

For those of us that have hope that we may actually connect in any way with another human, this is frustrating. If you have hope of connecting, online, on the phone, by video or by meeting, you are likely to be more honest than some. And hoping for the same in return.

I am far more interested in how you think that how you look. I think I am in the minority.
