I would give anything to have my own personal patch of blackberry bushes. I wish we lived closer, I would be glad to come and dig up your berry bushes. I actually enjoy picking blackberries in the summer time... the 🐍 don't bother me at all. I wear my Carhartt coveralls to protect my legs and arms. I also wear 1 🧤 so I can reach in and grab a branch so I can pick the ripe berries. I love freezing some of the berries for cobblers and I also like making preserves as well as blackberry wine. I used to go around picking volumes of black raspberries, then a couple of weeks later blackberries, in "unoccupied" lots back before all those lots had office buildings put in. The old railbed was the best, but they put in a trail and landscaped it enough there aren't any berries anymore. Philistines.
