A long time ago someone used a phone key on here give away their or other method because the powers be didn't like people (mostly men) giving away their numbers (... safety reasons), but the women could post it as a status or name and nobody said anything. Now a few were bots and a lot were prostitutes but some didn't like it when the system would inadvertently crash or disconnect when you were chatting only pick it up a few lines later.
So someone briefly started using phone code. You remember when you actually had look your phone read the numbers and the letters: 0 was operator, 1 was nothing, 2 was A, B or C, etc. You get the idea.
They would put out an random word in the status using 1 and 0 or using ! 1. It took a while the heads find it out. In some cases years.. It was fun and it was an easy way . They would even use emojis the numbers. Careful how you read some posts, They could be giving you more than you thin With and down, telegram and telegraph may close too. How will you communicate with others?
