Not often it happens, knowing what I'm going to be doing before I get asked to do it. But yesterday saw me changing out the fire extinguishers that were missing and in the afternoon replacing all the missing smoke detectors. Today a Co. is coming out to make sure all the extinguishers are in operating condition , the ones they find that aren't I have to replace those as well. The reason for all this busy work of late, checking the extinguishers, smoke alarms and light bulbs is that we have a Bank Inspection coming up next month. Once a year they send an inspector around to see if things are up to snuff and that the units that are rented, are actually rented. It's the banks way of minding the P's & Q's. Needless to say but all that lifting and climbing ladders all day long has my back barking once again. My hand, wrists, and fingers are sore as well. Using a hand held drill for eight hours will do that I suppose? I've a few things on tap for this morning, checking on the move ins for today to see if everything is set for the new tenants. I have a stairwell that needs to be done as a Tenant (?) sprinkled some of that carpet freshening stuff all over, seems their new pet isn't house trained yet and has had some accidents while being taken out for it's daily walks. So that stuff has to be vacuumed up. Aside from that I'll see what the boss has in store for me. Hopefully he'll go easy on me because it's Friday and I'm sore as all get out today.  Any who, time for me to jump in the shower....

Oh do so love a handyman who is very handy with his rough coarse hands and can take his time drilling into cavities but would not be able to stand in my heels while bent over for that long a period without the need to change to a more comfortable position so he can stick his wall plug into anywhere he sees fit and bang it away so its flush with my walls

Always Hated prepping for the Big Annual Inspections , just too see the Powers That Be , come in , sit in Bosses Office for a hour and a half and then Never Inspect a Single Thing or Inspect what wasn't expected to be Inspected but None the Less did Pass  On one occasion ; all they accomplished was negotiate the next Pay Raise amount for the Employees
