 It took me all day to finish off. It wasn't dirty mind you, just a large three bedroom unit. Lots to do. One of the first up graded units to be vacated. Most of the globes/glass covers for the light fixtures I had to clean by hand. Too afraid the thin glass would shatter in the dishwasher. The stove wasn't bad as far as stoves go. I did have trouble trying to clean the heavy grates from the five burner range top. They wouldn't even fit in the dishwasher, too big for the door to close. So the place took some time, as everything had to be done by hand. In retrospect, I could have been more aggressive with my cleaning I suppose. But I didn't need to be. As I said it's one of the newly up graded units, so the departing tenants took better care of the place than someone who'd have been living in the older style places. I wish all the places I did were like that. Keeping me busy, but still on the clean side. Of course the painter will go in and make a mess, he always does. So I''ll get to clean it again.

I woke up with a really sore back today. I was barely able to crawl out of bed. Once up, I had to lean on the wall till my back settled down enough to walk. Up and down the latter one too many times yesterday doing the windows in that place, that and the fact that I had to climb three flights of stairs to get to it lugging all my shit for doing my work along with me. I could do with a nice back massage, or an adjustment from a professional. Maybe with a happy ending thrown in for good measure. Heck, I wouldn't mind if he lay ed me out and had his way with my ass. It's been awhile. Having my ass pounded, and the pressure of some one laying on top of me might just snap my bones back into place?

Any who, time to hop into the shower now...

 After my divorce I moved into an apartment. I came to love the simplicity of it all. Don't buy things unless you know where you are going to put them, lock the door and go, after a hurricane just come back and someone else will pick up the debris, and if something breaks, just call maintenance. One thing I realized above all else, a good maintenance person was priceless.
It sounds like you are one of those priceless individuals. My compliments go out to you for the heart and soul you put into your work.

Yeah apartment living can be easy and nice. But it has it's down side as well. Noisy neighbors and the like. Thanks for the compliment , I seldom get many here.. You have a good one Woman.
