 Kisses are *tells*.

As you vividly describe, the moment of the first embrace is imbued with near-infinite possibilities. In my mind, I am less interested in the mechanics (as you note, *practice makes perfect*) than I am in the energy and passion that sparks in this nascent but crucial contact.

Where there is hesitancy and a defensive response, there is the immediate sense of my *sink* of anticipatory passion swirling down its drain. Yet, if- despite awkwardness or misalignment- lips surge inward and press hard against mine, then (huzzah!) the gates to an erogenous realm have swung wide-open.
