Halloween Tales

She was cold dark empty inside. She only came out at night. Not any night. Not the full moon. The new moon. The darkest night of each month. That is when the ice cold blood in her veins would hunger. Her fangs penetrated deeply into his skin drinking every drop of blood from his body. She tossed the limp dead body aside as his skull cracked open against the pavement. Leaving him to the already dead who pushed through their graves to walk the earth again. Renewed life into her veins of warm blood allowed her to survive another month.
