 Thinking on this, I believe there could be many reasons for ghosting. I have not done so. I like to tell a guy the reason I think our conversation is making me uncomfortable or going nowhere. After all I know would like the honesty given in return. All you can do is accept that it was a stepping stone. Sometimes you need a lot of steps so you can end up where you can settle. Time to move on and get to stepping

 I know.. it's a nightmare but it's not just on here, men on other sites do it too.
I have a lot of spare time on my hands but get seriously pissed off when I and he to be fair have invested a lot of time and effort... I don't get it either

 In my opinion it is more a lack of common courtesy and plain rudeness. Could be a married thing, but does it matter? If they are that rude on an IM or an email, then imagine what kind of ass they would be in person. They did you a favor by showing their weak personality early
