 The Spawn and I had burgers for dinner tonight after we got home from the lake... I made my own though. They were pretty yummy!

 The last time I got a hamburger was a week ago in McDonald's inside of Walmart . Of course I took it to go. It was good for a change.

 My regular store recently had a special buy on BBQ Pork Patties !! I thought what the heck & bought a bag !! I've never had Pork Patties before !! I fried one up in butter like I do regular burgers !!! DARN ; was it Good !! So good that I ended up frying another one

 Ah McCharlie, it's funny how you miss things when they're not so readily available to you.

I'm with the McLade though, I much prefer my own burgers, on the barbecue or under a hot grill. I even chop in some chili peppers and ginger.......oh dear, I might need to have one later, if the rain stays away.

Chick is a shortened form of Charles in Scotland. We have a very famous, now deid, comedian called Chick Murray. Absolutely hilarious he was, there's some great footage of him on the yoo toob.......but dinnae try to watch it, ye'd no' understand a word!! Anyways, I keep wanting to call you McChick, but then think twice because I don't want you misconstruing it!

 I stayed away from San Antonio , because of TEX-MEX, very addicting. I'd be as big as a house.

 Whataburger is good. I have to drive 45 minutes to get to one though
When I'm on my own, I will cook big then reheat in the following days. It's not as good as fresh but better than PB&J. Hubby grilled a package of hot links and brats when he was on his own then reheated in the microwave. I'm sure his cholesterol is thru the roof but he was happy, LOL.
