communicating without gold membership

I am probably not the first to post about this but this site it is hard to communicate here. The chat rooms I find arent really for finding out about another person( or couple) and you have limited access to profiles.

Is there a trial where you can take the gold for a test drive?

 The site has done a masterful job of boxing you in so that you have to pay for a gold membership. Setting up your own private mailbox is a great idea. The problem is marketing that idea to others so that you actually get some traffic.

My advice would be to do everything you can to generate points for yourself. If you click on the number of points you have in the upper right corner of the screen you'll see a menu that describes how you go about earning points. Once you've generated points for yourself, use them judiciously.

Neither of these ideas will allow you to read profiles or view their pictures. That costs points and so you're back to the discussion of whether or not you suck it up and pay for the membership. I didn't see value in the spend personally but you may have a different experience.
