There are few things more corrosive for a would-be Dom than a near-perfect sub. In addition to undermining an already-fragile basis for punishment, you have most certainly piqued feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt in someone who demands to be in charge of his relationships.

Pushed back on his heels, he now channels the wisdom of George Washington and Mao Zedong: "The best defense is a good offense." Hence he gaslights you.

Given your mindful and self-aware reaction to his pathetic response, I suggest you rethink your inner-kinkster. Perhaps a switch is appropriate.

That guy will be a horrible Dom for you, which you've already recognized to a certain degree. Doms don't whine to their current or potential subs. Instead, they craft an ever so subtle image of how they would ensure proper discipline from their sub, then allow sit back and let their sub to be's imagination flesh it out into her own fantasy. Making a woman think about having sex with you is a powerful tool. Had Mr. Weeny been a worthwhile Dom, the fire he ignited would have you powerless to keep your lovely hands out of your panties all day and have you begging him to take ownership of you. I do have to point out that in all fairness, it's clear you already revealed your desire to be submissive.

Keep in mind that your idea of the perfect Dom may be different than that of other subs. A proper Dom learns to recognize little cues their sub intentionally or unintentionally provides. One of my subs was clearly of the service type. In order to provide that pleasure to her, upon her arrival, she'd be asked to refill my beverage and perform some other task (i.e. empty the dishwasher). By the time she completed that task, she would be fully engulfed and behaved rather un sub like, by wrapping her legs around me. Funny though, I've never had to discipline a sub for failing to meet my expectations.

As for knowing what gets you off, a good Dom helps his sub discover new things that bring her pleasure; that's his job. But that takes at least 10 minutes to figure out.

We've had other communications about this topic. A Dom/sub relationship is complex, dynamic, and like every kind of interpersonal relationship, it is never one size fit all.

Ah. Good to know. I find something often needing practice is being heard at the back of the room. We'll need a space where you can be loud.

It's no fun spoiling the surprises. I will say I am skilled at reading people.
