A day in my life

Jesse

My wife’s been gone for two more weeks my are at least talking to me, (I’m an addict and by saying that hoping you get our lives and how crazy they are.) My wife is no longer living here she moved out the and the are gone too. I feel empty, that’s not the story. Today, Jesse is the story.
They take care of each other out there, Jesse is a bum. I say he’s a Beach Bum and just lives inland. With no waves for now. Jessie is Native American, he’s been homeless for 15+ years. Literally does not have a roof over his head at night. Jessie‘s from the same town I was born in. Bellflower California. A little suburb 15 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. There is some violence out there and they do beat each other up, but usually they make up or move. Have you made up with your brother or sister or mother lately? Exactly, the same out there. They will give you half of their last penny. If you need the other half more than they do they will give it to you. Not all, but generally most people are good and know God and Love. Prime example, since I’ve known Jesse he’s been talking about taking me surfing, today I wake up your phone call, “Good morning Doggy I’m coming over!” 15 minutes later he’s at the door what’s a 7 foot 11 Wavestorm soft top surfboard he found on the side of the freeway. I guess it wasn’t tied down in someone’s truck or what have you. He has no food, no house, maybe five dollars to his name, and he gives me a $200 surfboard that could’ve been sold on offer up in a matter of minutes.
I went in alone. Going through some really dark times in my life, separation, are hurt. You know things attics go through sometimes. I was trying to share the message of God and love and just trying to make these Homeless guys and girls I see feel kinda normal for a minute. The biggest mistake I could have made was going in alone as an addict. I would not repeat that mistake.. Maybe I would. ((((I might be able to elaborate more on that if this article I’m writing goes on anymore there’s a death to this. Or life. ))))
Most people don’t care about these people and look down in fear when passing them on the streets. Maybe they notice a shopping cart, a box of clothes maybe some blankets and, Oh wait is that a bum? “Lock the doors hunny!”
Jesse had a bedroom, it was behind a wall tucked in we’re some AC units are. It’s on the same grounds that I was born in 1978, literally born less than 100 feet away. Jesse did not have a front door like us, he had to hop over his front door. Inside his bedroom, he had a flat screen, the futon And just a few other comforts the homeless do not get. He lives right down the street from you or me and we don’t even know there’s a struggle going on in the world. They are the fringe, on the outside looking in. They are loving and friendly and sinners, just like you and me. Period. Most people in this country are comfortable. ((((((((((They don’t have to scream to God about the basic ))))))

I think I’m a little stoned right now, I’m about ready to roll onto the floor laughing for no reason. We need to pay more attention to All of Gods .
