Since I've quit drinking, I've noticed that many of the things I've done that offend people, happened because I was drinking. It was the same lame excuse. Sorry, won't happen again (Until I black out again). It was abusive. I've changed my ways. I'm taking accountability of myself and my actions. It's never easy without a support system. I haven't went to any meetings. I haven't talked to counsellors. What I have done is just walked away from booze. I don't go out. I stay in and play video games. My family has praised me and that's great. I'm happy that they get to see me constantly<b> sober. </font></b>I never wanted to be a parent or spouse that could be<b> sober </font></b>or could be working on a 26 of Bacardi about to forget I had a job interview that morning.

Things have changed. Things have gotten better. I wish I had done this years ago.
