Why do men not show up for a meet they agreed to? I really need help understanding, I listed all the possible answers I could think of.

 They have a significant other or are scared to actually meet. Some want to meet but can't shed their responsibilities and actually meet you. Back a couple of decades ago when you had to go to clubs to meet, those guys were sparse. The online thing has allowed this fantasy-fake-catfish-etc thing to occur and proliferate.
