I am the 80sbaby. I love my 80s music. I raised my on the 80s music. Minime is literally a 80s music connoisseur. But, 80s rock/pop isn't all i'm about.
I have several playlists. On my laptop, on my spotify, on ipod etc. Since all the crap in my playpen, i've actually taken more notice of my music choices. The words, symbolism, the belting out of lyrics. Please don't judge me if you see me speeding down the road belting out songs.....
Today, I grabbed a random cd from the sleeve of the car bag. It was a country collection. FYI/BTW... I grew up on country. country, the classics. Again, minime was raised on this. She even shocked a teacher in middle school by knowing who Patsy Cline was just by hearing the music.
Anyway, I put this cd in and wait. I sang along several classics. There were a few that really hit ....harder than I thought. The words. There were songs that reminded of family. Lost love ones. Lost love. My childhood. One song, I actually played a couple of times. The words really sank in.

I love the childhood song "If you're happy and you know it...". It can be sung so many ways.
It's kinda odd. Seems like the people around lately (the last week) have noticed a change in my life. I seem happier. More at ease. Like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
My close friend mentioned that it always seemed odd that I never really spent time with friends anymore after I got married. And only one time did hubby & I actually go out with my friends. My co-workers said that I seem be happier, not so down. That I seem have had a weight lifted from my shoulders.
I know that right now, I do feel that it is a little easier breathe. Now, don't get wrong, I am still shocked, sad, hurt, confused.....pick your adverb. I love my husband. And I think in some ways always will. But I can't fight for something that is one sided and find myself wasting away my spirit.

So without going into details, I think this was the worst weekend of my life!
While I am a very avid reader....and look where I’m posting, I have never read 50 Shades of Grey. Definitely have never watched.
I guess, sadly I’ve lost touch with my sexual side. Been awhile since I’ve felt wanted in that way. Even as I write this, I feel a yearning. DAMMIT!!!!
Ok, so, 50 Shades. So at that infamous big box store today. While the dude is looking around electronics., I wander around myself. And what should my horny little peepers spy... 50 Shades of Grey blu-ray combo set.
Yup, the baby has not only made a rated R purchase...this is the unrated version. By the way...I’m barely started and this is hot! (Ok, so the guy is hot...what can I say needing sex!
