I have a seven mile sandy beach about two miles from my house. Parts of it are life guarded, one small section has a tidal estuary that becomes Goose Fare Brook, and the northern end curls around to a cove that's also tidal and you can walk across at low tide to another sandy beach in another town
And that's only one beach in one state on the Eastern seaboard. Ask Holly about Atlantic City- she's got awesome photos

Despite the fact that I have never been there, I really want to go to Australia for some great beaches. As the season in Australia (in southern hemisphere) is just the opposite of places in northern hemisphere, it is possible to have fun in beaches of Australia from around November to March, when the temperature in the afternoon can be pretty hot, especially in Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. So for you from the northern hemisphere who dread of cold winter but still misses the great summer fun, you can simply get down to the Down Under from November to March and you can thank the Aussie (Australians) for making the beaches great. ("No worries." says the Aussie, which means "You're welcome." or "No problem.") Just watch out for the crocodiles who will try to eat you alive, mate.

Anyway, feel free to leave some comments on this poll. So long, mate!
