Since this can be about whatever I want...here goes. I've never had what you'd call...a normal sense of humor. When we had to read the Odyssey in high school, and we got to the part where the dies, after having waited for its master to return, I was laughing my head off, while all the other students were acting all depressed over it. Now that I've taken care of that example of my strangeness, on to the point of this post. I've listened to my fair share of classical music, and the one that grabbed my attention the most is a short, creepy piece called 'Erlkonig' by Shubert. Once again, something most people probably aren't into, but I just found it wonderful. Its based on a Germanic folktale(trust the Germans to come up with stuff like this) about an evil spirit that lurks in forests and lures to some sort of horrible fate. Its maybe 5 minutes in length, and if it speaks to any of you like it did me, please chime in.
