 Most of us just get the "between-the-ears foreplay" and I agree that each of us human beings become "more than the sum of his/her hormones". Awareness of that "more" indeed takes time and effort.

Life is too short not to laugh! Good point. I'd just like to add: Life is too short to give up seeking the joy for which we long.
