The DAILY Same Old, Same Old - Fake/Scam Women's profiles on the 'Newest Matches'

.

I've begun to post a comment on the women's fake/scam profile pictures on the Newest Matches I report as a kind of "FAKE/SCAM PROFILE 101" for the guys who haven't caught on yet.

There are others on this site who do the same, but I don't know if they are just leaving comments or are reporting them as well in the Report Abuse link with the 'why' drop-downs and including the URL of the pictures in the comments, like I do.

It appears that the only time the site does delete these fakes is if you have completed an Abuse Report, and even then their track record for doing so isn't 100% ... especially on the week-ends and with the Gold members that are using copied-and-pasted pictures from the Internet.

The majority of those I do report are those fake/scam profiles that are using pictures of porn stars/models, pictures from 'eye-candy' sites, pictures from Russian bride sites, sites, or pictures of models and celebrities.

For about a month now there has also been a 'new' category of fake/scam womens profiles that add about 100 profiles a day on the Newest Matches link.

These fake/scam profiles are ALL from the USA ... are ALL between the ages of 19 to 24 ... and whoever is posting them is using the same basic pictures, EVERY DAY they post them!

Unlike the Ghana Scam Team (as I refer to them), they aren't using the headline and Introduction portion of the profiles, but are leaving one of several identical phrases on the status portion of these profiles, which are:

get me some feedback on my pics

waiting for your messages

** who is want a private pics?

want to show my pics. please send me pm

looking for a nice talker

can u write me a pm?

please write me

** looking for a one night sex

hey guys, write me three compliments

write me please

do u want to see my secrets?

** who is want to see my pussy?

** looking for a sex

looking for a crazy guy

As you can see by the ones I've added asterisks to, their command of the English language is poor, indicating that they may have originated in some foreign location, or it just may be possible that this is a group effort being done by some Junior High School aged scammers!

As far as the pictures on these fake/scam profiles are concerned, as I stated previously, they are using the same pictures, over and over, each day that they appear.

I haven't bothered to check them all out, but many of them are pictures of porn stars/models, pictures from 'eye-candy' sites, and of course several of them are of the Internet's self-proclaimed 'selfie-Queen', Angie Varona!

I do NOT report ALL of them, unfortunately for the weak-minded, easily-led-to-being-scammed-guys that may get 'suckered' by them, but then again, I do already report a large of fake/scam profiles every day and doing another 100 or so, when it's not stopping these scammers from just re-posting them the next day, is just not worth it!

I can't imagine what it'd be like to be an AdultFriendFinder employee that is given the task of trying to keep the scammers out. All the crap they have to look through every day.. They'd have to pay me six figures to that every day all day for months at a time..

Keep up the good work and keep us informed.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 7:30 am:
According to their VP of Customer Satisfaction, who is in charge of overseeing that fake/scam profiles are addressed/deleted by the employees under him, "Our staff reacts to ALL of the Abuse Reports in a timely manner, and after investigating the validity of those reports, take the appropriate action."

thanks and we realize the vast majority of young women on here are fake , especially in that age range . We think you can even lower the age to 18 as we have seen a number of them on here too , again thanks .

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 8:02 am:
Within the particular group that is detailed in this Blog post I have only seen ages 19 to 24. I'm certain that there are a good number of 18 year old fake/scam profiles out there as well.

I get random IM's from these bots saying shoot me a email at this and this address etc. It's fairly obvious. Then you have these women who don't put up a pic and are merely call girls looking for money.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 8:07 am:
Many men have been scammed of money or personal identification theft because of these fake/scam women sending IM's to them. I only look at the profiles with at least one picture and there are plenty of women who blatantly post that they are available only for money on their profiles.

Real women don’t browse, flirt, hotlist you as soon as you log on either. If you don’t log in for a few days you’ll likely notice you didn’t have any kind of activity at all.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 8:09 am:
With a main profile picture like that, who would want to?

That’s BS, some employees do but there are a few that routinely don’t do a damn thing at all, I still have the same scammers I reported showing on my browse/flirt/hotlists that posted off site links in their profile headings.

If you'll refer to my response to windsjohn you'll see an actual quote from the VP of Customer Satisfaction for the site. Like anyone, including me, sometimes they miss a few. Nobody is perfect.

Seems anymore there are more fakes on here than anything else and it's making the ones who are real reply less and less to ims or emails

Not to be facetious, but welcome to the Internet. It's like that on any site that allows profiles and communication.

What you're doing is above and beyond the call of duty. The fakes I
encounter in my neck of the woods are usually between the ages of
27 to 35, with few exceptions. How many "real" women that age are
going to contact a man old enough to be their father? So I really don't
even need to go beyond their age to know what's up if they contact me.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 1:54 pm:
I've learned not to limit my "Hunt for Fake/Scam profiles" to just "my neck of the woods"! When I do a search it's for ALL women looking for a man, from ANY distance away from my home, that have joined in the past 3 days or less, and have at least one picture on their profile.

Have you found anyone worthwhile here?

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 1:58 pm:
Oh, go ahead and ask the question without being crude, rude, or politically correct ... "Have I met anyone from this site and gotten laid?"

The answer is what I've told countless numbers of guys who have engaged me in email conversations ... "I'm sorry, that's really none of your business."

One thing I noticed is that scammers will send a collect IM, provide an email address to go off this site immediately. Which is suspicious.

The one thing they have i common is that the physical address will state a local town, but the state is missing. Just thought I would mention.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 2:02 pm:
I've heard that many times about the IM's and also see a number of profiles with just a town and no state every day.

I can't even imagine the amount of time it would take to find all the fakes on this site. And getting rid of them is like herding cats. They delete three, and four more appear. Go get em tiger...

As I've been doing this almost every day for over a year I've gotten pretty quick at spotting and reporting fake/scam profiles. It takes me about 15 seconds to spot and report each one while going through anywhere between 500 and 1,000 profiles each day. It really doesn't take as long as one would think.

This is a business site. The object here is for someone to make money. The main source of income is men looking for sex. Those that run the site will do what they have to do to make money. Complaining to the site about false profiles is probably going to have very little effect. It is the site that is behind all those false profiles. It's a way to recruit paying members, the fact is people actually fall for that. Myself when I see someone has looked at my profile or tried to contact me I note the age and determine if they have been to my blog. If they are interested in me they will do that otherwise I just look at it as another attempt by the site to get me to pay and just ignore it. If you are going to use this site in any way you need a method of determining what is real and what isn't and act accordingly.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 2:21 pm:
Once upon a time, when the money-grubbing interests from Penthouse owned and operated this site, I would have agreed with you in a heartbeat. Since the re-acquisition of ownership went back to the founder of A.F.F. in late December of 2013, I have to disagree with you as far as " It is the site that is behind all those false profiles. ", for many reasons, the least of which is FACT that there IS a REPORT ABUSE system in place that is deleting those fake/scam profiles reported.

Stop and think for a moment ... would you work for a company located in Silicon Valley if you not only had to create fake/scam profiles but would also have to (or someone else working there would have to) delete them as well?

What's that line from the movie "Under Seige 2, Dark Territory" ???

Thanks Patti. I've been on this site for a little while and have had many scammers attempt to take me but over time I've learned how to spot them. I've even exchanged messages with some to have a little fun and keep them believing that I'll fall for there game. I can message you the info of future scammers to publish if you'd like. Take care.

Patti_Kake replies on 10/24/2018 2:26 pm:
Please keep those "future scammers" (profile names/ID's) to yourself. Many members have had their profiles deleted for 'publishing' those names on their Blogs. The site's Terms of Use rules and regulations specifically prohibit doing that.

I usually bust every damn one of them in my state, Arizona, damn things are worse than the other fakes and scammers on here too.

Nailed 9 of those bastards again today.

tomorrow, same thing, soon as I log on, see who and how many they are, and start reporting them.

Sad part is, the site doesn't give a shit, cause it's all about the numbers !!!

Patti_Kake replies on 10/25/2018 6:03 am:
You and a few others on here that regularly leave comments on them were my inspiration to start reporting the fake/scam profiles after a good friend of mine got 'taken' by one of them.

Throughout the responses for this Blog post it may appear that I'm defending the site about the fake/scam profiles but the truth is you're correct, the site doesn't care how many how many new fake/scam profiles show up every day, but at least they are reacting to our Reports of Abuse.

Also, I've seen a lot of your comments, calling out the fakes, on Newly uploaded photos.

I hit that place everyday !!!

Ages 18 to 40, that's the main ages for scammers on here, except for this latest flood, which are 19 to 24, and that's only for now, they will change their M.O..

they had been like "spookywas_xx" "buttonwas_xx", etc, etc.

Happy Hunting---I love busting these damn fakes !!!

Patti_Kake replies on 10/25/2018 6:25 am:
Except for the fake/scam profiles from the 'Ghana Scam Team', as I refer to them, which has been going on since mid-September of 2017, it appears to me as if the ones I call 'Spam Scam' come in waves and then are gone.

There were two 'older' women fake/scam 'Spam Scam' profiles that had numerous profiles every day, with different pictures of the same two women, both blondes ... one was short, cute, and had a small space between her front teeth, and the other usually was wearing glasses in her pictures ... from different geographical locations, and one had various profile names with "pie" incorporated with them, and the other always had the identical narration in their profile Introduction that started, "I know how to kiss ... "

They were around for a few months this Spring and Summer and then they just stopped showing up. I can only guess that whoever was posting them got tired of doing so or the site finally identified their IP address and banned them.

I too shall continue to do my daily "hunting" routine because it is an enjoyable challenge, and from what I've seen, read in the Blogs, and known to have really happened to a friend of mine, it just may make a difference for others to not be scammed.

The majority of folks on here don't give a shit either, as per the blog post, posted today about the sky falling with fakes, or something like that.

I make it a point everyday after logging in to look at "Newly uploaded photos",

No big surprises there either, same old fakes, everyday, different age, location, but usually using the same photos over and over.

There was a group on here called the "Girls from Ghana" which went bust finally, nobody it seems gave a shit anymore.

People need to realize IDENTITY THEFT is a major problem, and where do the scammers get their information from ??

FAKE PROFILES on site's like this one.

I like you had a friend get scammed big time, and I do hunt the bastards on here, and bust as many as I can too.

Some of the poeple on this site really need to wake up and smell the FAKE ROSES !!
