Cranky

Feeling cranky again. I am at home today, not working. My stayed home from work as well. Maybe that was part of it, I don’t know.

Most of my day was spent sleeping since I woke up at 2:00 am. I hate days like that. I now have to stay up later so I can get back on schedule.

My hours may switch up a bit soon. The day driver might be going back to his old job. I asked to work a few day shift and the rest night shift. I will be able to spend more time with my and MAYBE, just MAYBE I might be able to go on a date or two. I like working nights and I don’t think I will make much more on days but I need to spend time with family. I miss my . I miss having a man in my life too. Well, kind of.

Thanks for reading and I love you!

Thank you very much for reading my blog!

I didn't like working nights much, which is odd since I have a screwy sleep cycle. My brain tells me bedtime is three AM and get up time is eleven AM. I used to start at eight or nine at might and drive out to a reship terminal a hundred to two hundred miles away, swap freight on the dock for a few hours and come home with a couple of wagon loads. I was OK driving out and I was fine working the freight dock, even past three AM, but the drive home nearly killed me. I had a hell of a time keeping my eyes open.

The day shift didn't really fit my natural sleeping pattern but I adjusted to it better than nights. We didn't have a regular second shift, like three to eleven or four to midnight- there weren't regular quitting times in any event. You just worked until they let you leave.

I get cranky myself if I don't get enough sleep...unless there's a good reason for it
