On the eve of one of the most momentous Holidays that we celebrate as a Nation, I would like to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July.

I would also like to thank the veterans alive and dead and their families for their sacrifice, first responders and their families who selflessly gave of themselves during this COVID pandemic, truckers and farmers who kept the food coming to the grocery stores, our FED EX, UPS, USPS, DHL and other delivery people who kept the supplies flowing, our business owners and companies that made adjustments to serve their communities and make new products that our Country so desperately needed, and let us not forget our Police who kept us safe holding that thin blue line intact.....it is hard to list every one but I would be remiss not to include this special acknowledgement......A special thank you to all of you.... countless numbers of you...... who sheltered in place and sacrificed your freedom in order to protect your communities and neighbors.....it was tougher and longer than we expected and it continues to be so in several states. In this battle, we have unfortunately lost countless loved ones and neighbors and yet we have made it through the hardest part......with knowledge and time and medical advances we are overcoming this virus.

This loss comes at a time when people are trying to erase history by senseless acts of destruction toward historical monuments and statues... symbols of the struggles we have overcome as a Country.....History is just that.....history....a part of the past that hopefully we can learn from....not that we relive.....not that we embodie as our present....in keeping perspective we understand.....statutes cannot harm anyone.....but radical ideas, hate and violence can....

We as a collective diverse Nation have fought for 244 YEARS TO maintain and preserve our Independence and Freedom..... to uphold the Bill OF Rights and the singular premiss that our Nation was founded on...... The Constitution of the United States........... and we honor the birth of this Country in recognition of the sacrifice of those who fought for those inalienable rights and freedoms.
Thank you and God Bless America!!
