Loved your post. It's a simple fact of life, we all get older. For some, biological changes occur (metabolism, gravity, etc) and as we age we don't like some changes but they are a part of us and we must accept them and deal with them. After all, we can't all be gorgeous young porn stars! Glad to see you are comfortable in your own skin. For what it's worth, I think you look fabulous for any age.

I wish you were correct in your statement that age is just a number. However , for almost all of us a few unwelcome things happen to us after 35 or 45, about which we can do little: 1. Almost all of us will need reading glasses. This is not horrible; just an inconvenience when we forget, misplace, step, or sit on them 2. Men will start losing their hair on the way to becoming bald 3. Men's erections will be slower and not as hard as when younger-- a warning that his heart is not pumping blood around as well as in earlier years. 4. Women's breasts will sag. Skilled surgeons may be able to do something for these women and their sexual playmates. 5. Skin exposed to the sun will become less firm and more wrinkled. 5. Many of our friends and favorite relatives will die. 6. We shall lose much of the strength and energy we had when we were in our twenties. 7. Women can no longer give birth to children. This is probably a good thing. The world is already over populated. 65 year olds will probably lack the energy to keep up with small children. 8. All of us become more susceptible to disease and organ failure of some sort.
