Romance is very much like a highway to heaven... you think this is the true meaning of the song? You are taking a scenic drive to the heavenly spot of romance, this road has many peaks and valleys plus lots of turns and even some boring straight a ways. But if you just enjoy all nuances of the road and admire the scenery..... there is a pot of gold at the end of this road, Heaven . Get your car in shape and go out for a fun road trip. It is Sunday.

It is Super Bowl Sunday, everybody is in a good mood so thought I would share one thought about being.... a lover of life.
The lover of life makes the whole world into his family, just as the lover of the fair sex creates his from all the lovers he has found, from those that could be found, and those who are impossible to find.
So go out there and be a lover of life ... not a hater.

Ice Cream is a good analogy on romance, in that we have all enjoyed it at one time and all react to it differently. The basic flavors of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla were our introduction to ice cream, then we started adding different flavors[ gummy bears ,moca mint and etc] to enhance our enjoyment of one of the true rights of enjoyment. Then we started worrying about cholesterol, calories and lactose intolerant concerns. Ice Cream is like romance, stick with the basics and add some whipped cream, chocolate syrup or other goodies if enhancement is needed....and if you use common sense you can still enjoy to the fullest without over stepping health concerns. So don't give up ice cream, it is still one of the simplest enjoyments of life and you should never abandon it. So, the polar vortex is hitting you......just think ice cream and romance.

We have just finished the debacle in Washington on debt ceiling and balanced budget, I would like to reference romance in the same scenario and how to balance the loving. Warren Buffet states that the best way to balance the budget is that congress can not run for re election unless the budget is balanced. In romance, another day should not be granted in the romance department unless the loving is balanced and enjoyed by all..... think this would really keep the romance department strong. So, vote for one day contracts in the romance department.

Ok, I have got the new year celebrations out of the way and looking at my blank 2014 calendar. Let's see, I am going to get older this year, adjust to what life throws at me, live every morsel of time to the fullest and have way too much fun. Hmmm, now I have looked everything in the eye, gave it my shit eating grin and now ready to tackle 2014.....did I mention, have two years of fun in one year? Got to get my priorities straight. A New Year is upon us and every one is making new resolutions but we should be thinking new resolutions year round. We get set in our thoughts and ways on how we treat romance, romance is an ever changing phenomenon that we should assess daily. Sometimes hugging and a kissing is what turns the red light on, then it may be some voyeurism that perks the needle. The main thought should be enjoyment not what is the norm or what is perceived to be the norm. Go with my old saying..... if it ain't fun it ain't worth doing. Happy New Year

Yes, it is the season of giving, so why don't you give yourself the gift of comfort. Get comfortable with yourself, we have been taught, guilt tripped and basically intimidated into believing that we should live within the rigid rules of protocol on how romance and sex should be lived and viewed. Pull off the sunglasses and untie the ribbons.... and live life with a big smile. That big smile only comes from enjoying romance the way you desire....not from doing what others desire or expect of you. Enjoy the holidays my friends.

Romance is never black or white, most people have this conception about sex and romance and they are the ones who are not enjoying the nuances of romance. Romance is something you can't describe, it falls into the category of grey... or is that gray? There are two origins and spellings to this color and both are correct. Just like there are many variances to romance and they are all correct, so go out there and discover if you play in the gray or grey area....or somewhere in between, since they are all correct.

This is the bumblebee theory to romance, you see the bumblebee is aerodynamically not fit to fly but does well and looks good in calm weather. Now when bad weather or wind arises, the bumblebee is no where to be found. So, give romance the bumblebee test before you go flying off into fantasy world.....may look good but see how it does in bad weather first before you take flight

Ok... first it was coke changing their formula and then it was me trying to change my format, My readers are not here to answer my questions...they are here to hear my pontification upon the nuances of romance.... I get I get it, so here is a rant on.... you got it. Comfort Zone.
Yes, we all have our comfort zones and routines... from chicken on Friday, bowling on Tuesday, brushing your teeth starting on the right side, sleeping on left side of the bed, missionary style sex on Sunday and oral on Tuesday, same friends and same jokes on Friday. Now don't get me wrong, comfort zones are essential and helps life move on....but don't get lazy and carried away with it. Why are spontaneous occurrences so fun and memorable, why did that flirtatious look make your day, why are dreams centered around far away places and exotic people....it is because it take you out of your routine and comfort zone. You knew I was getting here.....So, take romance out of that comfort zone. Be it just for a test drive, small vacation or a complete overhaul. Life is too short not to paint outside the line to see if you enjoy it and what it looks like.
