Hotwife. Thats not exactly what it means

Hotwife. That’s a term I never thought I’d identify with. Bear in mind I literally only found out it’s exact meaning a few months ago. What can I say, I’m a slow starter 😝. Anyhow, I only found out during the lockdown when the husband and I were surfing through porn sites, and the term came up. I’m a lil embarrassed by the fact that I had to Google the exact meaning but paid no more attention to it after (what is, after all, just labels... 🙃)

So I caught up with a very old friend and ex fwb of mine (“Ex” cos we no longer share the desire to have said benefits, but I do still find him easy to talk to. In fact, seeing him again has left me with questioning my very own taste in men AND my own senses 🤣. Anyhow) a few nights ago and in the process of catching up, I was telling him about my most recent, failed endeavour, involving the husband and the current fwb.

Short digression - Long story short
I had floated the idea of meeting up with the fwb to the husband and he had suggested me simply inviting him over. He has also increasingly expressed interest in watching, and participating, in me with a bbc. So the plan was to get the fwb over to a meet and greet, to see if everyone could click. That never happened cos none of our schedules allowed. Then one evening, right after I was done at the gym, all of a sudden they both had free time and wanted to meet. So we did. The meeting went well, we all got along really well, and even set a date for him to come over a day or two later. Then he (the fwb) went to eat durian (it IS in season) the day he was supposed to come over. Now, L if you read my last post, one of the main things I wanted was a facial by both of them. Like a load. LOAD. So, knowing what might....no, will make his cum nasty, I cancelled our meeting. I then asked both of them to hydrate and steer clear of certain foods😉. It was a list. (Yes yes....hey, can’t fault me for trying). We set a next date which was about a week later. Then a day before that, we get news that the husband has to travel. Travelling now meant he had serve do a quarantine (two weeks) when he got there, then do his rounds there before coming back. That meant him being gone for a month. That kinda threw our plans awry.

So yeah, that was what I was telling him about. He said a bunch of other things but what stood out was him saying that I was officially a hotwife. I still don’t agree with the term. I always thought we were swingers, if we would allow ourselves to fall into a label. Aaaannyways. Shelving those plans for now. I’ll probably meet with the fwb after the husband flies off. In the meantime, we got that to deal with. Ha. Hotfwife 😝

youknow! the biggest problem with labels?
they do not cum with clear defined lines. like religion they can be modified in ones mind to suit the believers(users) needs.
so if a hotwife is a married woman who has sexual relationships outside of her marriage, with the full knowledge and consent of her husband, who himself doesn’t have affairs. and you have written in the past that you and your husband swing together and separate
would that not rule out the hotwife label
but
butt
you are married.... as you keep reminding us
by your writings we can tell you are intelligent and straight forward
by your pictures we can tell you have a very desirable body
some would even call it a hot body... therefor i would call you a hot wife rather than a hotwife
anyway that you want to look at it.... i still would not refuse your advances! should ever i be bestowed that pleasure.
happy sexcapades

there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

It is like they choice something mis-leading some people would just assume what it means. Is the opposite then "coldhubby"? That doesn't seem fair...

Hotwife usually wears a ankle bracelet to indicate she is a hotwife out in public....someone correct me if I'm wrong on that...

New terms seem to appear with infinite regularity. I have to remind people in business, that you can't refer to someone, usually a man, as a 'bit of a berk' - an English phrase, because it's cockney rhyming slang ; Berkley Hunt - Cunt! Okay, Berk is less harsh.
Pricks, knobs, dick, puff, cunts etc, it's all labelling and name calling, and meant to be intended in a derogatory sense most often. It wasn't originally. It's then adopted into normal speech and eventually lost when a new in vouge label comes up. Will Milf's and hot wife go the same way and be derogatory?! Probably. A celebs name will get used and older terms out of fashion.
Right, I've bored you shitless and that reminds me. I need the loo ( John, crapper) I'm desperate for a ...Trump!

I suppose it makes sense... if pineapple is supposed to make a man's cum taste good, I can see where durian would make it absolutely horrifyingly nasty!!!!!

(good thing it's never in season here!)

I’ve actually heard about that rumour too, but I do t think there’s anything to go on. And for the record, I don’t wear an ankle bracelet.
Hang on...now you’re making me wonder. Is that true? Lol

Heheh. This was pretty good. Although for some reason I don’t get, milf and hotwife isn’t derogatory. I have heard it mentioned in a derogatory manner before though, but in general, it isn’t. For the moment.

I suppose like everything, it’s all in context. Either way, thanks for stopping by and sharing 😊

I thought "Hotwife" was related to "the change" women go through?

Bloke1 in Pub: "I thought this was your special night with the wife? Why are you here having a pint?"
Bloke2 in Pub: "Nah, she's having another one of her hot flushes so there's no chance of that happening."

I have had a good number experiences with couples over the years, with varying degrees of success, pleasure, disappointment, outright weird and awkward.

Problems tend to arise with how each party labels themselves and the expectations, rightly or wrongly, they attach to that label. I usually try to discuss in as much detail as possible in advance, but this still does not guarantee a satisfactory outcome.

Without ever having Googled the term, I consider "Hotwife" couples to be those where the husband gets pleasure in watching his Hot (self explanatory) Wife being Fucked by another man. Then there seems to some variation as to whether the husband just watches, watches then joins in, or joins from the start and instructs the 3rd party. Obviously there is further variation in how the wife behaves either in being totally submissive to the events that unfold, to being an outright Cuckhold of her hubby.

As you say, what's in a name, as long as everyone understands and adheres to the limits and boundaries that are set.

And therein loses the catch 22 - if/when we start labelling then we risk falling into said labels and it’s virtually impossible to label everything (although soooo many people try). But if we don’t, then the risk of not listing clear roles or expectations and things can turn for the worse very quickly. Clear communication is key for sure. That’s why finding regular partners is so hard. But I suppose that’s part of the fun. At least it makes for good stories. Lol

Hotwife, Stag/ Vixen, Cuckold ... its all semantics. None can truly describe the entirety of what you are into.

My impression is that "hotwife" means a married woman who plays with other men with her husband's consent. The husband may or may not be present; if present he gets turned on by watching, and if absent he gets turned on by hearing about it later. When present, he generally just watches.

Traditionally, "cuckold" means a husband whose wife plays with other men, with his awareness, but not his consent, but for whatever reason he's unable to do anything about it.

In modern usage, "cuckold" often means a husband whose wife plays with other men, with consent, but an implied role-play of the traditional meaning.

On the other side of things, a married man who plays with other women without his wife's consent might be termed a "cheater" or a "ladies' man" or both.

As typical with double standards, a married woman who plays with other men without her husband's consent is termed a "cheater", a "slut", or all sorts of other negative terms; there seems to be no corresponding euphemistic or admiring term like "ladies' man".

"Swinger" is a broader term, that includes pretty much any kind of committed couple where one or both partners play with others with consent -- but with the understanding that they remain a committed couple, and outside play remains casual.

Then there's "polyamory", which includes pretty much any kind of committed relationship that allows committed relationships with others too.

- - -

So, getting to what label fits you and your husband, "swingers" sounds like the best fit. When you're playing and he's not, you're a "hotwife" for the occasion, but that doesn't seem to be the label that generally applies.

And you're definitely a hot wife in the two-word sense.

Labels are useful but only with a follow up of exactly what you are seeking... I for example like my cock sucked by a guy that is obsessed with sucking cock ie.. Dedicated Cocksucker... I like doing so while watching straight porn.. I get labeled bisexual or gay and I don't argue... I describe myself as someone that likes their cock sucked by a guy.

It can have different meanings based on what the husband is doing.

A Stag/Vixen couple is just one where the hubby watches her fuck, and sometimes joins in with her. Most swingers are that type, he likes having his porn actress wife, but they swing with other couples too.

A hotwife is not exclusive of that definition. Any swinger wife can be called that.

But a hotwife/cuck couple is different, a cuck always watches and gets off on cleanup duty afterwards, or being emasculated somehow, like her telling him how much bigger her Bull's cock is. The Cuck might be bisexual or bi curious, but its all about the dynamic between the couple.

I'm a Bull, I see all kinds, so long as hubby doesnt try to touch me beyond a handshake, but theres a definite difference between a cuck couple and a stag/vixen couple.
