Seattle police officer runs over an injured protester's head with his bike

This is what I am talking about. Vile disgusting behavior by our law enforcement. He should be fired and charged with assault. But of course, he won't be. Because this kind of behavior is condoned and reinforced in our police departments. They are taught show violence and brutality towards its citizenry. Anyone opposes the status quo of corruption in this country. We are living in a fascist police state.

Seattle police officer put on leave after running over an injured protester with bike in the street

A police officer in Seattle was placed on administrative leave after video footage showed him walking his bike across a protester lying in the street.

Footage captured from protests in Seattle on Wednesday shows a group of police walking and riding bikes down the street as one officer, dismounted from his bike, runs over the head of a person on the ground.

"He just ran over his head. He just ran over his head. Oh my god. Oh my god," said the person recording the video. "He just ran over that guy's head with his bicycle. I hope you guys saw that."

The footage cuts off as police push protesters away from the man on the ground.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) said the incident was under internal investigation, adding the information was referred the King County Sheriff's Office for a potential criminal investigation, The Washington Post reported.

The protester was not injured and was arrested and booked at Seattle's jail, police detective Mark Jamieson told the Post.

The Hill contacted SPD but did not immediately receive a response.

Seattle police said they made more than a dozen arrests Wednesday evening as demonstrators protested the Kentucky grand jury's ruling about the police shooting of Breonna Taylor which did not charge the three officers in her death on March 13.

    Quoting Massass1963:
So what is the "end game" of these violent protests? How will they measure when they've reached their "goal"? It is unlikely the day will come when no black person (or any person) is ever shot and killed by police. As long as crime exists, their is a risk that in SOME cases a police will have to shoot a perpetrator that happens to be black (trust me white people are shot too). Each case needs to be independently evaluated.
There ABSOLUTELY has been some cases of unnecessary brutality that some of these black men suffered. I agree!! In other cases, such as the Atlanta shooting at the Wendy's, I think while the shooting should not have happened, that man did put himself in harms way by stealing equipment from the police officer (I still agree the shooting was not necessary, though)
And there it is, the master of inarticulacy, with yet another torso shot that doesn't match the other photos it posts........are you Chuck?

It's just as well that you shouted ABSOLUTELY, because that really added to your point. Which, yeah, makes no sense whatsoever.

Yet another flake profile Rick.......

Pull ma finger.........

It wasn't an "injured protester." He was wearing a helmet and trying to block the road.

Peaceful protest and following curfew, is wonderful, exactly WHAT do they want ? Police 'reform' WTH is that. When police fight back when bricks & bottles are thrown at them is entirely correct ! When a door is knocked on stating there is a warrant, if someone shoots and hits an officer, it is right to fire back. It is unfortunate when an innocent person dies, if that person's family are compensated $12,000000.00, why are they protesting? They were responding to being shot ! What do you want, just stand there and more innocent people get shot ? The media just keeps this stuff stirred up, what racial problems were there before George Floyd's unfortunate death ? All the monuments taken down, ball teams & food changing names, this is stupid !

Sickening and I jsut rad a local notice about a protest scheduled for tonight in Portland in which the Lead Organizers of the protest have blatantly refused to respond to law enforcement asking what they can do to help facilitate things remaining peaceful!!! Offers of peace being ignored- guess I wont be going to Trader Joe's after 4pm
