Summer 1962

he saw her legs her feet
drifting over the edge
dangling tempting
as she laid
in the front seat
it was summer 1962
her car was on the beach
the sun was saying goodnight
hinting it would soon disappear
it would give way
the night
I bumped myself
into her feet
to say hello
she smiled
it was like magic
when our eyes met
it would be a night
that neither of us
would forget
it was the beginning
of something
that would last forever!

    Quoting Tmptrzz:
I was in my mothers belly in the summer of 62 and I just love that James Taylor song. I hope you have a great evening my friend..
I used to be able to play some of James Taylor songs. They were always very calming and relaxing to play. Maybe I'll pick up my guitar and relearn them. Happy Thursday my friend
