"If doubt is challenging you and you do not act, doubts will grow. Challenge the doubts with action and you will grow. Doubt and action are incompatible."
-- John Kanary
To reap the greatest benefits from intuition, we need ACTION. Be in motion. Act as if your highest expectations have already happened. Be in front of more opportunities and people. Let go of any blocks or attachments. Create mental space and physical space. Plan your work and work your plan.
Miracles rarely happen by doing nothing. Most miracles happen through other people.
What actions can you take that will move you towards your goals?
"Never forget that life can only be nobly inspired and rightly lived if you take it bravely and gallantly, as a splendid adventure in which you are setting out into an unknown country, to meet many a joy, to find many a comrade, to win and lose many a battle."
-- Annie Besant

"When guilt rears its ugly head confront it, discuss it and let it go. The past is over. It is time to ask what can we do right, not what did we do wrong. Forgive yourself and move on."
--Bernie S. Siegel
"I have made it a rule of my life never to regret and never to look back. Regret is an appalling waste of energy . . . you can’t build on it; it’s only good for wallowing in."
-- Katherine Mansfield
"If we don't forgive ourselves for our mistakes, and others for the wounds they have inflicted upon us, we end up crippled with guilt. And the soul cannot grow under a blanket of guilt, because guilt is isolating, while growth is a gradual process of reconnection to ourselves, to other people, and to a larger whole."
-- Joan Borysenko
"Light burdens borne far become heavy."
-- French proverb

"To know how to choose a path with heart is to learn how to follow intuitive feeling."
-- Jean Shinoda Bolen
What ideas are teasing you these days?
Are you aware of any little gems floating around your consciousness these days? Charged little thoughts that beckon you to pay attention to them? Inspiration and intuition often bring powerful new ideas to us very subtly, very quietly. When you become aware of being teased by an idea, follow it!
"Get your ideas on paper and study them. Do not let them go to waste!"
-- Les Brown

"What is it that makes all of us end each day with the sense that we have not lived our time, but have been lived, used by what we do?"
-- Jacob Needleman
How can you free up more time for yourself?
All of the great masters counsel that we need time daily for solitude. And if we want our journey in life to be meaningful, then surely we need some free time each day to explore our inner landscapes and uncover our passions. What activities can you cut out of your life to give you more growing room?
"Why has time disappeared in our culture? How is it that after decades of inventions and new technologies devoted to saving time and labor, the result is that there is no time left? We are a time-poor society; we are temporally impoverished. And there is no issue, no aspect of human life, that exceeds this in importance. The destruction of time is literally the destruction of life."

10 Things Women Should Know About Men

(Find the hidden toons for even more laughs!)
1. Don't think you can ever change a man… unless he wears diapers.
2. Love is blind, but marriage is a real eye-opener.
3. If he asks you if he's your first tell him, "You may be, you look familiar."
4. The of Israel wandered around the desert for 40 years. Even in biblical times men wouldn't ask for directions.
5. Men are all the same… they just have different faces so you can tell them apart.
6. Go for young men… they never mature anyway.
7. Never let your man's mind wander… it's too little to be let out alone.
8. If they put a man on the moon… they should be able to put them all there.
9. No man ever made love to a woman because the house was clean.
10. Women don't make fools of men… most of men are the “do-it-yourself” type.

"There are two kinds of men who never amount to much: those who cannot do what they are told, and those who can do nothing else."
-- Cyrus H. Curtis
How do you relate to people in authority? Depending on your character and upbringing, you may react defensively or meekly to those you perceive to hold more power than you do.
Hierarchical power dissolves in the presence of authentic power. Your true personal power has nothing to do with status. It is determined by how attuned you are to all aspects of yourself and to the needs of others.
In any exchange with a person ‘in power,’ focus your attention on meeting your mutual needs and the relationship will be both equitable and fruitful.
"Compassion, caring, teaching, loving, and sharing your gifts, talents, and abilities are the gateways to power."
-- Jamie Sams

Prayer of a Man and a Woman

FEMALE PRAYER
Before I lay me down to sleep, I pray for a man, who's not a creep, One who's handsome, smart and strong One who loves to listen long, One who thinks before he speaks, One who'll call, not wait for weeks. I pray he's gainfully employed, When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed. Pulls out my chair and opens my door, Massages my back and begs to do more. Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind, Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?" I pray that this man will love me to no end, And always be my very best friend. Amen.
MALE PRAYER
I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs who owns a liquor store and a bass boat. This doesn't rhyme and I don't give a crap. Amen.

"My days of whining and complaining about others have come to an end. Nothing is easier than fault finding."
-- Og Mandino
We often expect other people to meet our needs. When they don’t give us what we want, we may feel anger, resentment and even revengeful. Rather than blaming others, we could choose to get in touch with our needs and then fill them ourselves.
"Take your life in your own hands and what happens? A terrible thing: no one to blame."
-- Erica Jong
"Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity or registering wrong."
-- Charlotte Bronte

Joke #1
A panda walked into a bar. He went up to the bar and said "I'd like a steak and kidney pie and a Coke please" so the barman took his order and the panda went to sit down. Soon a waiter brought over his meal. The panda ate it up, thanked and tipped the waiter and paid the bill.
All this seemed pretty normal until the panda pulled out a gun from the depths of his fur, pulled the trigger and BANG! shot the waiter.
The barman came over and said "Wha.. wh.. You just shot my friend!!!" the panda calmly replied "Do you know what I am?" "Why yes," the barman answered. "Your a panda." "Good," the panda nodded "Now go home and look up 'panda' in the dictionary." And with that, the panda walked out of the bar.
The barman was a little unsure, however he was very eager to be enlighted on the subject of his friend's murder, so he went home to find his dictionary.
After a while, he found 'panda' and quickly read the definition:
PAND A: 1. A black and white bear native to China. Eats shoots and leaves.
Joke #2
A man walked into his backyard one morning and found there was a gorilla in a tree. He called a gorilla-removal service, and soon a serviceman arrived with a stick, a Chihuahua, a pair of handcuffs and a shotgun.
"Now listen carefully," he told the homeowner, "I'm going to climb the tree and poke the gorilla with this stick until he falls to the ground. The trained Chihuahua will then go right for his, uh, sensitive area, and when the gorilla instinctivly crosses his hands in front to protect himself, you slap the handcuffs on"
"Ok, got it." the homeowner replied. "But whats that shotgun for?"
"If I fall out of the tree before the gorilla," the man said, "shoot the Chihuahua."

Need to let go of control?

"The world is not to be put in order; the world is order, incarnate. It is for us to harmonize with this order."
-- Henry Miller
Ego believes that it needs to protect us from external dangers. Through control and manipulation, it aims to keep us safe. This need of ego is based in fear.
If we hope to live in love, we must become acquainted with soul. Experiencing soul brings a deep knowing that this is a loving universe. Experiencing soul also builds faith. We learn to trust that we don’t have to run the show. And when we do this, we tap the source of true freedom and joy.
"It is not action or effort that we must surrender; it is self-will, and this is terribly difficult. You must do your best constantly, yet never allow yourself to become involved in whether things work out the way you want."
-- Eknath Easwaran
"True spiritual surrender responsibly opens itself to the unknown."
-- Stephen V. Doughty

An Interesting Experience

I have been a member here the past couple of years and having been actively in the chat room has uncovered a lot of funny incidences.
I believe everyone is different in their personality and character and some are just different in the virtual world as well as the real world. Some find it easier to be themselves behind a monitor screen whereas some are just as open in the virtual as well as in the real world.
Every individual is different when it comes to their desires, wants and needs. Some crave for physical, mental or even other areas of needs or wants. However each individual's desires it should not be an issue to other people. Sadly this is not the case in the chat room.
There will always be people who can be more likeable as well as well known in a certain chat room and there will also be some people who will be jealous of the attention others are receiving. However it may be one should not also use nasty tactics like slandering and defame some people just to acquire that sympathy or attention. Just be yourself and you go a long way.
It has also been confusing with some who keep changing their handles maybe due to some bad experience or being kicked out by some other person who dont like them. Why go to such extent to do such thing? If a person do not like the other just dont talk to each other it is that simple. Why is there a need to cross each other's path in the chat and end up in some big argument which also shows the immaturity of one self.
I enjoy chatting in the chat room as I have also had the honour to have known some nice people and have met them in real and some are genuine and some are not. But that happens anywhere you go even in the real world. Some of the people I have met have been friends with me for years now and it has been a good thing. It is just sad having to see and know that these things of hate and jealousy happening in the chat room and creating all kinds of tension and bad vibes. Oh well what can one do to lessen this problem? Only one will know for one self.
Good Luck to all my dear fellow chatters females or males....Let's make friends more than we need of an enemy in our lives. Cheers and Take care.

"When humans find themselves surrounded by nothing but objects, the response is always one of loneliness."
-- Brian Swimme
Soul lives through relationship and it is in soul that we find meaning. We can have meaningful relationships with people, animals and other beings, projects, ideas and ideals.
How much time do you devote to building relationships with things?
"Loneliness is caused by an alienation from life. It is a loneliness from your real self."
-- Maxwell Maltz
"No soul is desolate as long as there is a human being for whom it can feel trust and reverence."
-- George Eliot
