wow, another year has passed, and here i am with no commited lover or relationship. so, no matter how much i wanted a man for the holidays, i dont have one. soooooo, i will spend it with co-workers, or go to a club with strangers. mayb next years will b my year. happy holidays all. linda

well i was right, the dude didnt call. go figure, n i liked him. we even had the discussion about letting each other kno if we liked the other. i usually tell a man after ive met him if i want to c him again, i dont blieve in stringing someone along. and here he said he was the same way, ooops he wasnt. with all we have gone through, and all the people we have met or dated, u think we could be honest, we dont have to say why we dont want to c that person again, js say i dont thing we clicked. so simple. linda

OK GUYS I AM ASKING FOR COMMENTS HERE. I HAD A DINNER DATE ON MONDAY, THE DUDE AND I SEEMED TO CLICK. UNLESS I WAS REALLY OFF ON THIS ONE. ANYWAY, I REALLY LIKE THE GUY. HE SAID HE WOULD CALL THURSDAY TO MAKE PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND. I REALLY WANT TO CALL HIM, BUT I AM GOING TO WAIT. WHEN I HAVE A MEET N GREET WITH A GUY, I USUALLY LET HIM KNO UP FRONT IF I DONT FEEL THE CHEMISTRY. I DONT LIKE STRINGING PEOPLE ALONG. WELL, I'VE GOTTEN USED TO BEING BY MYSELF, N FINDING NEW LOVERS AS I MOVE TO A NEW CITY. ITS A LIL HARDER DURING THE HOLIDAYS, BCUZ A LOT OF U GUYS HAVE PLANS W FAMILY. THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IS HARD, BUT I'M DEALING WITH IT. MY BIRTHDAY WAS IN NOVEMBER, IT WASNT AS HAPPY AS I WANTED IT, BUT THATS OK. THANKSGIVING PASSED, BUT I WAS ABLE TO CELEBRATE IT WITH CO-WORKERS. I WONT BE ABLE TO GO TO KENTUCKY FOR CHRISTMAS, OR TO WISCONSIN. SO, I AM LEFT TO MAKE A WAY FOR MYSELF. I WILL PROB BE SPENDING MY CHRISTMAS IN COVINGTON, LA WORKING AND THEN ENJOYING CHRISTMAS CHEER WITH CO-WORKERS AGAIN, AND MY SISTER, WHO CANT MAKE IT HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS EITHER. AFTER THAT NEW YEARS IS COMING UP, I REALLY WANT A DATE FOR NEW YEARS. I HAVE WORKED NEW YEARS PRETTY MUCH ALL MY LIFE. AND THE LAST 2 YEARS I HAVENT HAD ANYBODY TO GO OUT WITH. believe it or not even with my out going personality, its hard for me to come to a new town and start over. its like a job interview meeting new guys. ideally i would like 2 meet one or two guys that we hit it off, and get to spend as much playtime or togther time, instead of many men for one or two times. does that make sense. until next time, happy play times. linda

single, over 50 n living on the road

this is my first blog on here. wow where do i start. i travel for a living. remodel retail stores like wal-mart, n lowes. my adult encouraged me to get a divorce 3 years ago. which after some thought i did. i was 50, n not getting any younger.
dating again, wow. its still not easy. the only thing is, at this age, we kno more about what we want. we r not all starry eyed, hoping to meet that person, n mold em n change m. we kno that wont work at this stage.
life on the road is very lonely. especially if u kno u want to wake up bside someone to cuddle, touch, kiss or play with. i am looking for that person. someone to be there 4 me, when i want or sometimes need them js to hold me.
one thing i have found out, is most of u guys r the same, u all want sex, but i think most of us women want it too. with that being said, if u have someone, n u r not happy w her, or r just a player like my ex was, give me the chance to find my own dude.
i noticed married or attached guys r johnny on the spot looking for that quick sex thing. dont get me wrong, i love playtime everyday. but js bcuz i am over 50 n travel does not mean i am desperate for playtime. i can get it whenever i want it with who ever, but i do have my standards. and i am also hoping with all the men out there, that one day the rite one will walk into my life, one that cares for me as i do him.
i want a guy to do all the stuff my ex did not do with me. and believe me it was pretty much everything, even tho i was married for 30 years i basically was single, it was me n the and/or my friends and family. so i want what i missed out on.
