how do you think trump will celebrate?

how about blocking dr fauci from testifying
before the house appropriations committee this week?

says hes "too important" to let go.
maybe thats true - except for dr birx,
theres almost nobody else as medically knowledgeable
that he can contradict to look like hes "in control"
and "the best pwesident eveh".

hes already fired just about anybody else who isnt a parrot/puppet.

sad how when trump exercises "free speech",
the country pays the price . . .

COVID-19 vaccine, yes or no?

COVID-19 vaccine, yes or no?

well, you wont be able hear MY opinion,
as fearful3 has lived her name and blocked me.

ITS HER RIGHT, OF COURSE, but it probably stemmed from
disagreeing opinions over predator trump.

so, being open-minded, of course the course chosen was censorship.

hmmm, what other world "leader" and his followers used censorship?
was it a guy in germany with a funny mustache?

if im wrong, DISCUSS it with me, like we used to do in america.

TODAY SHOULD BE NATIONAL DUCK TAPE DAY

50 years ago today is when
the apollo 13 service module oxygen tank exploded,
precipitating the course of events
that lead them to use duck tape
to adapt an air filter
from the command module (which was square)
to keep them alive in the lunar module
(which used a round one)
long enough to get back to earth safely.

interesting stuff,
invented by a woman during ww2 for the military,
who also used it for waterproofing canvas backpacks and leather boots,
hence the name "duck" tape.
later also became known as "duct" tape
when marketed to contractors after the war.

as red green calls it, "the handymans secret weapon".

what other miracles has it been used for over the years ? !

please remember you can be religious and reverent anywhere,
its whats in your heart, regardless of what building youre in at any time.

please dont be in a crowd of a thousand packed into a church
saying the lord will protect us
and wonder why your town has a new spike of cases by mayday.

he HAS protected us
by giving us tools, most important of which is the BRAIN.
PLEASE use it.

i dont have enough friends to lose any needlessly,
especially ones here i havent met yet.

1) no one can see you smile behind your mask,
so as you navigate around each other, dont be shy
about waving or verbally acknowledging one another
.

2) gloves can make things worse.
if you wear the same gloves from store to store, or
as a retailer, from customer to customer,
without WASHING them in between like you would your hands,
you could be helping to potentially spread it instead of fighting it.

3) and if you do wear gloves,
for gods sake, DONT just throw your gloves on the ground
in the parking lot outside the stores.
seriously, what are you thinking ? !
are "other" people supposed to risk infection picking them up?
those "other" people could be your neighbors.

were all in this together, and were only gonna get through it together.

dont know what made this pop into my head, but
i remember often hearing that an ancient chinese curse is
"may you live in interesting times".

well, these certainly are interesting times indeed.
hope all are doing well.

this shouldnt need mentioning,
but after seeing something very disturbing in the news last week,
apparently it is -
remember tomorrow on april fools day,

jokes and pranks about getting or spreading infection are NOT funny.

good luck to everyone

celebration ?

someone in my neighborhood has been intermittently
setting off fireworks for a while now.

evidently, among all the suffering, death and chaos,
theres something to celebrate.

maybe a birth? a birthday or anniversary?

hopefully NOT celebrating with a crowd ,
but still affirming that there are still,
to use an analogy,
flowers growing from the rubble.

empty stadiums or cancellations ?

should they without crowds or just not at all?
postpone? relocate? or cancel and end seasons without champions?

for example, here in philadelphia years ago, they cancelled the NYE fireworks
because of lightning danger (fireworks exhaust trails help lightning strike),
sent the crowds home for safety, but the shortly afterward,
set off the display anyway "for the tv audience".

playing to empty stadiums is rare in the us,
but nowhere near unprecedented in the rest of the world.
FIFA (the world soccer governing body)
often had teams play behind closed doors as punishment for
racial or political violence.

yes, they make more than you and i can possibly imagine,
but they work hard for it (at least hockey, football and soccer do)
but dont they still deserve the chance to complete their seasons?
especially those with chances to win championships?
and for the fans to watch on tv?
CANCEL - its just games and safety should come first
POSTPONE/RESCHEDULE/RELOCATE GAMES - the 1989 san fran/oakland world series was delayed and we survived, the phila flyers played
PLAY BEFORE EMPTY STADIUMS - the fans and players still deserve the opportunity (and distraction) of the games, as long as its n
something else im missing here - PLEASE post your view. thanx

if he trips on a leggo or your dog (or cat) bites him.

its time to throw party politics out the window NOW.

response this site blocked from "the storyteller" informative blog by rick31875,
titled "understanding the coronavirus" -

Quoting Heathen_G:
It's just another flu virus. Relax.

REPLY - for the umpteenth time - (when will you learn?) -

1) corona is NOT a "flu", its in the same family as MERS and SARS.
much worse.

2) even with millions of deaths during WWI, the flus death rate is only 0.1%,
compared to coronas current 2.0% - TWENTY TIMES MORE DEADLY.

people in YOUR STATE have already died from it.
