Glad I'm retired, I haven't been late for my morning Bloody Mary in a year and half.
I believe nothing until it has become history!

I'm sure I could do "retired" if it came down to not having to worry about how to make the next house payment and hoping that the car doesn't have any issues. I'm sure I could keep myself busy enough to enjoy being retired doing the things that "I" want to do instead of what is expected of me or what everyone else wants me to do.
Thanks for this amazing pic!!! Every now and then I LOVE a GREAT Bloody Mary!!! |

You've got your priorities right, and nothing saying you can't post in the evening either.

tulsaliza replies on 5/21/2016 8:05 am: The reality check in this new job situation is the old man. We still have one car, not sure, if ever, we will be getting more than one car. That's pretty stressful to me right now. I have lived with the inconvenience of one vehicle between us for the past three years and I'm still not liking it very much.
I yearn for the freedom of having my car in the parking lot where I work and having the ability to go anywhere at any time I want.
The old man isn't doing very well these days health wise. It's been a real challenge with this new job. I am hoping that he stabilizes enough that he can think straight and make some important financial decisions...time will only tell and I am continuously grateful for the time I do have with him. The fact that he may not be with me more than a couple of years is very much in my face right now and that's been one of the many challenges with this new job.
Don't get me wrong, changing jobs was absolutely the best thing for me to do career wise. Now getting the personal stress more under control and live life to the fullest while I still have the old man here with me!!! |
