Lots more to do than just gamble here in Las Vegas. It may be hot in the summer but the Fall, Winter and Spring are the best. And one can always drive up to Mount Charleston or nearby Lake Mead to cool off. They actually have downhill skiing and the snow lasts until late May in the valley, not bad for a 40-mile drive. As Woody Allen said in one of his movies, "I'm not an atheist, I prefer the term God's loyal opposition".
