The mandatory essay always feels like such an ego-centric pile of crap when I reread what I wrote when I'm done. What is important to know about me? I'm male, divorced, 34 and Polyamorous. Currently involved in a long-distance relationship with the love of my life. Believe that organized religion is a perversion of spirituality. I love to cook, read and am a certified Live Journal addict. I love to get into someone's mind and really get to know them. I truly believe that the beauty on the inside of someone is much more radiant than the beauty on the outside. I'm a geek...work in IT. Love cannot be limited. For me, Poly isn't about sex...it's about not limiting the love that I feel for others. If that involves a physical aspect, then so be it...if not, that's fine, too. Every relationship is different. You are looking for someone who you really want to get to know and are not just looking for an insubstantial relationship. If you are looking for a relationship, please be Poly or willing to be a part of a Poly relationship...and this doesn't mean that you will be thrown into a threesome or anything or expected to live in some kind of commune. It does mean that my relationship with J is sacrosanct, and getting involved with me means also getting involved with her and everyone surrounding us in a very real way emotionally and mentally.

My Ideal Person On the surface, there's not much that I would rule out . I will say that I am more attracted to brunettes and redheads than blondes....long hair over short. Other than that, I don't have a lot that is a "must" or "must not" have physically.

Emotionally....must be secure and open with your emotions. Must be willing to share what you are feeling and willing to deal with emotions as they come up.

Mentally...Smart, sense of humor, can express yourself, has an open mind and a non-judgemental nature.
