Running out of options in a small town. I used to think of online dating as cheesy and even a little beneath me I'm a bit embarrassed to say. Of course this was 10 years ago when I was still in highschool and finding a date was a lot easier when you spent 8 hrs a day in a building with nearly every female within a few years of your age in the entire town. Now it's a bit harder to have the same kind of luck when you rarely run across a, I'll call them, a potential date. If you it does happen the odds if then being married or potential way younger or older than what would be considered appropriate aren't in your favor. Not to mention you have usually no more than a few seconds to come up with something that is interesting and at the same time unrehearsed and nothing like a pick up line even tho that's what it actually is if were being honest. All of this plus plenty more has turned me from a confident 20 year old with no problems with opposite sex to a bit of an introverted 30 year old who's been single for too long. I haven't been out of the sex game completely, fortunately so I still know what I'm doing. But meaningless sex is easy. While it is at times necessary it starts to be a hit routine and any real man or woman would eventually long for more. Maybe this will help me find. Don't get me wrong tho. Casual is still completely on the board and I can promise that I won't get attached, but atleast online I can attempt to weed out the same old same and maybe find partners looking to try different and exciting thjngs. That's my hopes anyway. We shall see how it goes
