From when I was about 6 I would get a throbbing between my legs whenever I thought about dentistry... I remember getting that same throbbing during a scene from the wonder years where Kevin needed a filling... and also from the most popular dental submission/masochism scene in film history... Steve Martin and bill Murray in the little shop of horrors. I was fearful of the dentist although I'd never had a bad experience... But even at such an extremely young age, I thought about it and invented scenarios in my head because I wanted that throbbing sensation back... I craved it. Although had no idea what it was, why it was happening, or that it was in any way related to sex... I guess at 6 you don't even really know what sex is? Long story short, it's not something I ever divulged to anyone for many years... It's something I've felt extreme shame around, without really knowing why. I finally had a chance to explore when I lived in London a couple of years ago... Something I'd love to do again! That was a gyno/dental scene - pics are on fetlife. The thought of another scene like that already has me tingling. It is not about pain, rather the anticipation/fear of it, learning to trust that I will not be in pain is important.
