Between work and keeping up my property, I find I don't have much time for getting out there and meeting anyone. My Ideal Person First, let me say that as an engineer, experience has taught me to allow for a 3.5% margin of error in all my calculations and formulae. Keeping that in mind, my ideal woman would be someone who can hold up her end of a conversation, whatever it may be about. An independent woman with a brain would be amazing. She would be a skilled scuba diver, and enjoy diving locally as well as in tropical water. She would be interested in Eastern philosophy (particularly Zen and the Tao). She would have an avid curiosity about life and the world around her. Physically, she would have "curves." I'm not impressed by emaciated women; if you look like you're starving, you probably are. But, I'm also not interested in extremely overweight women; round isn't curves. I live an active lifestyle, and want a woman who can walk a mile on the beach with me and not be crippled for a week. She wouldn't have to be a beauty queen, but she would be pleasant to the eye. She wouldn't smoke, and would enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day. She would be the kind of woman that enjoyed an evening in as much as she did an evening out. A friend and companion as well as a lover. These are some of the "ideal" characteristics; I'm grown up enough to know that we don't live in an ideal world.
